2025 Insights Engine:
We Build, You Drive
Data alone won’t get you ahead next year.
It’s what you partner with the data that will make the difference.
Did you have the right insights to know (with confidence) what to do this year? Or did you make a lot of educated guesses with reports and stale research? If this sounds familiar, you’re not the alone.
Now, many leaders are making heroic efforts to salvage 2024 results, after what has been a volatile year with insufficient investments in insights – and, unsurprisingly – inconsistent performance.
Meeting 2025 head-on will be challenging for burned-out teams after the Q4 push. And that’s bad news, because the economic challenges are projected to continue. Better insights will be a need, not a “nice to have.”
Sequent can help you get back on track with our year-long research & strategy accelerator program.
Designed to help your insights program explode off the blocks, our Insights Engine will provide layer upon layer of cumulative visibility and learning throughout the new year. At a macro-level, here’s what is included:
Insights Diagnostic
The process begins by evaluating the insights you have available today, using the Essential Insights™ framework.
Study Management
We’ll provide the manpower for qualitative, quantitative, and desk research projects so you can focus on driving results.
Leadership Development
Learn how to make the most of the process (and take it in-house next year) through Essential Insights™ and SERIOUS Strategy™.
Strategy Workshops
Cross-functional co-creation workshops will guide you and your peers through making decisions with what you’ve learned.
Ready to make smarter, faster decisions every quarter?
Program Details
This lineup of insights services is tailored to the most common needs of organizations who have fallen behind on their insights. Need some adjustments? No problem! Our Insights Diagnostic (the first step) points toward other tools that are needed to close critical gaps in your insight. We’re happy to adapt what’s here according to your needs, and within your budget.
Scroll through the tiles below to explore what you’ll get with this 2025 Insights Engine:
Assessments
Landscape Analysis
How will the needs of your target audience be shaped by macro-level forces, and translate into demand over the next 3-5 years? This analysis will ensure your go-to-market has a longer “shelf life” by evaluating Trust, Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Regulatory, and Environmental trends.
This analysis will help us anticipate and monitor competitive threats that are expected to emerge over the next 3-5 years, by assessing how macro-level TPESTRE trends will affect the supply chain, technological investments, M&A activity, and the market landscape.
From a provider/expert point of view, what solutions are you competing against (directly, and indirectly) and how do your offerings stack up against those of your competitors? Includes an audit of products/services, brand, positioning, and key messages.
Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats – using the information gathered in the Competitor Analysis, we evaluate your company’s position relative to others in your space, to guide value chain development and marketing strategy.
Enterprise Classes
Market Research
Qualitative Research
In what contexts do the needs of your target audience arise? What individual factors (including demographics and behaviors) are contributing to those needs? This qualitative study will capture the range of their needs, characteristics and underlying circumstances to help improve your offerings and engagement.
Quantitative Research Study
How many people within your target audience have which needs? We’ll conduct projectable quantitative research to more accurately understand the size of your market, and the relative priority of their needs. The results of this research will be used as the basis for segmentation.
What groups of likeminded customers exist within the market you’re trying to reach, and which of these groups represent your best opportunity to become customers? Our segmentation combines attitudinal factors with targeting criteria to ensure you’re able to find them in the crowd.
This concept testing research will help gauge the receptivity of your target audience to your new Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy – allowing you to sidestep any potential issues, and identifying aspects that resonate most deeply with your prospective customers.
Workshops
Focusing on the target audience identified through our Segmentation analysis, combined with the landscape analysis conducted earlier in 2025, we’ll gather key commercial leaders to co-create a unified Go-To-Market strategy, which the entire organization can get behind.
With the Go-To-Market strategy created, we’ll assemble the same team of key commercial leaders to identify what supports must be put in place to execute on the new strategy.
Using what we’ve learned in the Value Chain Workshop and the feedback from our GTM validation study, we’ll guide your team through the process of making any necessary adjustments to both, before FY26 planning begins.
In this final step of the Insights Engine process, we’ll transform your Go-To-Market strategy into a plan for action. This workshop will gather key commercial leaders to decide on what they’ll deliver, and when, to bring the strategy to life.
Fractional Leadership
Enjoy the benefits of having a Fractional Insights and Strategy Leader for 2025!
Providing continuous guidance and oversight for the 16 projects included in this package, you’ll reap the benefits of having a knowledgeable executive resource on call to help your team draw cumulative conclusions across the insights over the course of the year. It’s the equivalent of having a fractional insights and strategy leader on staff, without eating into the budget you need to conduct the research itself.
Covering three Essential Insights™ quadrants, these projects ensure balanced coverage and the crucial context needed to succeed. Partnered with your in-house performance data (the fourth quadrant), you’ll have the complete picture!
What is the
Essential Insights™ framework?
This powerful model ensures we’re covering the major bases and answering the right questions with a balanced, context-driven approach that amplifies the value of your performance data.
Using a blueprint like Essential Insights™ is the key to building a dependable insights engine that produces consistent, high-quality insights for your organization year after year.
“This is just what we need.
How much does it cost?”
If you’d like to learn more about the full package – the total investment for the 2025 Insights Engine will vary, largely depending on your target audience. As you would expect, the cost to study the attitudes and behaviors of dog lovers is significantly lower than the cost to conduct the same research targeting doctors. Cost also depends on the degree of certainty you’re hoping to achieve (which determines the number of participants we need.)
For this reason, in this promotion we are quoting the costs for Sequent’s services separately from primary research participant expenses.

For the package described above (exactly as-is) here is the investment, in two parts:
Sequent Services
(Fixed, billed Monthly)
For Sequent’s services, this limited-time promotion offers the complete 16-project research package described above for $96,000—which is significantly lower than our usual rates. Why the low price? Because when we work on multiple projects for one brand, we capture major efficiencies, and we’re passing that savings on to you.
Participant Expenses
(Out-of-Pockets, deposited to Escrow)
To calculate your primary research participant expenses, we’ll contact our panel partners to calculate recruitment costs and honorariums for varying numbers of participants, so you can determine what works for your budget. For 3 primary studies (2 quant, 1 qual) the participant-driven costs start around $15K – 25K for easier-to-reach target audiences.
Out of your price range? Let us customize a package for you!
Combine any four or more of the projects or classes above, and you’ll save 15% on research services (25% on enterprise classes). Learn more on our Custom Bundles page!
Act quickly to secure your spot! Here are the key deadlines:
- An initial deposit of $8,000 (for Sequent services) is due before Friday, November 29th, 2024, with the remainder billed in eleven installments in 2025.
- To keep research project timelines on track, your estimated out-of-pocket research participant expenses must be deposited into escrow by January 10th, 2025. With out-of-pockets earmarked for the year, you’ll release disbursements prior to the start of each primary research study (to cover participant-related deposits.)
